Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for Wind Due Diligence to lead independent engineering and technical advisory services across international wind projects. You will manage IE/TA projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, engage lenders and developers, and deliver high‑quality reports and proposals on time and within budget.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering or Physics with 4+ years in renewables, strong wind tech knowledge, and fluent English; German, Italian, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field with at least 4 years in renewable energy, technical due diligence, or project engineering.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology and turbine technology assessments.
• Knowledge of KPIs for onshore wind projects and energy yield modelling methodologies.
• Experience supporting utility-scale wind projects, including TSA, BOP, O&M, PPA, asset management, and financing contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage IE and TA projects supporting project financing, acquisitions, and divestments of wind projects and portfolios.
• Coordinate input from multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and quality across analyses.
• Prepare proposals outlining scope, approach, team, budget, and schedule.
• Lead project execution, coordinating internal resources to deliver on time and within budget.
• Serve as primary client interface for lenders, developers, and stakeholders; build strong relationships.
• Develop communication plans and lead regular project status meetings.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and promote best practices across projects.
• Conduct site visits during construction and operation and review progress against specs and budgets.
