Job summary

Fluor Corp in Płock, Poland (on-site) is seeking a Field Engineering Manager to lead field engineering activities within the OSBL scope on a B2B contract. The role requires extensive experience in refinery or major industrial projects and strong coordination across Engineering, Construction, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities include acting as PMC focal point, resolving technical issues, reviewing design clarifications, and supporting commissioning and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Process, or related discipline).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, LNG, or other major industrial projects.
• Experience in Field Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Support, or EPC project delivery roles.
• Experience working within PMC, EPCM, EPC, or Owner's project organizations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the PMC focal point for all field engineering activities within the OSBL scope.
• Coordinate engineering support during construction and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Review and manage technical queries, design clarifications, and field changes.
• Facilitate cooperation between Engineering, Construction, Quality, Commissioning, and Project Controls teams.
• Support constructability reviews and interface management activities.
• Monitor compliance with project specifications, standards, procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Review field modifications and as-built documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on engineering progress, risks, and key issues.
• Support Mechanical Completion, Handover, and Commissioning activities.
