Job summary

Baltic Power seeks an Offshore Technical Client Representative to oversee MP/TP bolt re-tensioning campaigns on offshore wind assets. You will monitor contractor execution, verify procedures and ensure reporting meets project requirements.

The role requires hands-on experience with bolt tensioning in offshore wind, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate independently from November through March on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and previous experience in bolt tensioning / re-tensioning of large bolted connections on wind turbines.
• Previous offshore wind experience in a Lead, Supervisor, Technical Representative or similar technical role.
• Experience with MP/TP bolted connections is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of bolt tensioning procedures, execution requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to assess the quality and completion status of performed works.
• Ability to review contractor reports and completion documentation.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a client-side technical oversight role.
• Availability for a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation from November until March.
• Candidates with previous MP/TP bolt tensioning or re-tensioning campaign experience will be strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MP/TP bolt re-tensioning activities on behalf of the Client.

• Review and verify the contractor’s daily reporting and completion documentation.
• Verify and confirm completion of the required scope at each WTG location.
• Monitor daily progress and identify any technical or operational issues affecting the scope.
• Attend daily coordination calls and provide progress updates and reports to the project management team.
• Review the planned operational sequence and identify potential clashes or interfaces with other scopes and contractors working in the field.
• Act as the Client’s offshore technical representative for the bolt re-tensioning scope.

Offshore Technical Client Representative

For our client, Baltic Power, we are currently looking for experienced Offshore Technical Client Representatives to support an MP/TP Bolt Re-Tensioning Campaign.

The role is focused on technical oversight and verification of the works on behalf of the Client. The successful candidates will monitor the contractor’s activities, verify work completion and reporting, and provide the Client with clear visibility of offshore progress and execution.

Vessel: CTV – daily offshore transfers

Accommodation: Onshore accommodation

CTV Port: Poland – expected to operate from Władysławowo, Łeba or Ustka (final port TBC)

Expected Start: Beginning of November

Project Duration: November to March

Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Shift: Day shift
