Job summary

Globetek Ltd. seeks a seasoned Fabrication Client Representative to oversee offshore wind components at fabrication yards, ensuring conformance with project specs and safety standards.

You will monitor processes, validate ITP adherence, and conduct audits on welding and coating per DNV-OS-C401 and EN 1090. You will review documentation, manage schedule risk, and ensure quality from fabrication through shipment, requiring extensive industry certifications and bilingual communication in English

Qualifications

• International Welding Engineer (IWE) or International Welding Inspector (IWI-C) required.
• FROSIO Level III or NACE Level 2 certification preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years in heavy steel fabrication, offshore wind experience a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in Inspector/Client Representative roles.
• Extensive familiarity with DNV, NORSOK and Eurocodes EXC3/EXC4.
• Fluent English and Polish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Client’s interests at fabrication yards, monitor daily execution and milestones.
• Verify contractor adherence to approved ITP and project requirements.

Job description

The Fabrication Client Representative acts as the eyes and ears of the Client at the manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring that all primary and secondary steel components—including Monopiles, Jackets, and Transition Pieces—are fabricated in strict accordance with project specifications, international standards, and health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Client’s interests at fabrication yards, monitoring daily execution processes and confirming the completion of project milestones.
• Verify that the contractor adheres to the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and project contractual requirements.
• Conduct welding and coating audits (including Heat Input and NDT witnessing) to ensure compliance with DNV-OS-C401 and EN 1090 standards.
• Monitor delivery schedules against construction milestones and proactively identify risks to avoid site disruptions.
• Perform final reviews of the Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) and verify as-built technical documentation before shipment.

Required Qualifications
