Job summary

Semco Maritime seeks a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC design experience to design and engineer HVAC systems for offshore substations within the Renewables division. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, support from concept to commissioning, and ensure robust, safe HVAC solutions for complex offshore installations.

The role involves collaboration with clients, suppliers and fabrication yards, with travel around 30 days per year and work locations in Esbjerg, Nordhavn or Gdynia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• HVAC engineering/design experience on offshore, marine or energy projects.
• Knowledge of ventilation, cooling, heating and pressurization systems (DX and water-based).
• Experience with technical documentation and coordination in multidisciplinary EPC projects.
• Professional English communication and strong teamwork, quality and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design ventilation, cooling, heating and pressurization systems for offshore substations.
• Develop HVAC philosophies, diagrams, specifications and technical requisitions.
• Ensure compliance with standards, codes and HSE in the project lifecycle.
• Specify HVAC equipment and support procurement, bid evaluation and vendor follow-up.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, structural, piping and control disciplines; participate in reviews and meetings.
• Support fabrication, testing and commissioning activities including FATs and SATs.
