Job summary

STN Inc. seeks a NOC Engineer / NOC Lead to operate its 24/7 monitoring and first-response capability for GPUaaS infrastructure. You will triage alerts, follow runbooks, and coordinate with on-call specialists during incidents to protect customer SLAs.

The role requires handling incident lifecycles, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining clear customer communications. You will work in a remote US shift with rotating coverage, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a NOC, SOC, or IT operations
• Hands‑on experience with monitoring tools and alerting
• Strong Linux and basic networking fundamentals
• Excellent written and verbal communication, particularly under pressure
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts including overnight coverage

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure alerts, 24/7
• Triage incidents and engage on-call personnel
• Execute documented runbooks for platform issues
• Manage incident lifecycle and customer notifications
• Coordinate maintenance and change windows with teams and customers
• Update status pages and communications during incidents
• Maintain shift handoff docs and incident logs
• Support ticket queue handling (Tier 1)
• Contribute to monitoring improvements and runbooks
• Work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
