Job summary

Miratech in a global IT services company is looking for an experienced NOC Infrastructure Administrator to join our team remotely.

You will monitor, administer, and provide 24/7 support for Linux, Windows, and cloud-based systems, ensuring availability, performance, and rapid issue resolution. The role emphasizes automation development, incident management, and accurate documentation and procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Experience supporting production infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration.
• Experience with system and application monitoring in production environments
• Hands-on knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, IP networking, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Windows Security).
• Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization (AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience developing automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and database troubleshooting.
• Experience with web server administration.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Nagios, Datadog, Jira, Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for a 24/7 NOC environment supporting Linux and Windows-based systems.
• Operate, maintain, and manage Linux and Windows systems supporting production operations.
• Perform data backup and recovery activities.
• Monitor, manage, and maintain Linux and Windows servers and applications.
• Create and maintain environment-specific operating procedures and documentation.
• Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and group memberships in Active Directory.
• Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring system integrity, availability, and successful completion of scheduled jobs and backups.
• Define, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve support requests in an organized and efficient manner.
• Administer and monitor cloud-based infrastructure and managed services.
• Develop, maintain, and utilize automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Assist with patch management in Linux and Windows environments.
• Create and maintain operational, configuration, and knowledge base documentation.
• Lead shift operations when required.
