Job summary
Saab, a leader in defence and security, seeks a Technical Support Manager for its naval shipbuilding project in Poland. The role centers on coordinating, supporting, and monitoring mission systems with extensive software and hardware components. You will liaise with engineering and program teams across departments to ensure timely, quality delivery.
The position is based in Gdańsk, with occasional travel within Poland and abroad. Remote work is allowed only in exceptional circumstances.
Qualifications
- Academic/technical, military or other relevant education.
- Technical project management experience.
- 2+ years as a service engineer or electronics/telecommunications technician (military/maritime desirable).
- Fluent in English and Polish.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers and end users.
- Provide technical customer support.
- Coordinate and supervise technical document flow.
- Support sub-projects and sub-suppliers.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality system solutions.
- Attend customer meetings.
- Plan trials and tests.
- Identify red flags and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with engineers on module integration.
- Carry out servicing and maintenance of electronic equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electronics.
- Assist installation, commissioning, and configuration of systems.
- Support software installation and integration and testing.
