Job summary

Air Products seeks an experienced MRO Sourcing Specialist to design and execute sourcing strategies for maintenance, repair and operations materials and services across Central Europe. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable supply, competitive terms, and strong supplier partnerships.

In this role, you will lead RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and market analyses while driving cost optimisation and procurement transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience developing and leading sourcing strategies in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, utilities, chemical, energy, public sector, or similar environments.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and commercial skills.
• Experience managing competitive bidding processes and market analysis activities.
• Proven stakeholder management skills and confidence in influencing internal and external partners.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Fluent English and Polish language skills.
• Valid driving licence.
• Preferred Czech language skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP.
• Experience supporting operations, maintenance, industrial services, engineering projects, MRO categories, or technical procurement activities.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or organisational improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
• Lead sourcing events including RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and market analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams as a trusted procurement advisor and key point of contact.
• Analyse market trends, benchmarking data, supplier risks, and commercial opportunities to maximise value.
• Lead initiatives to reduce supply risk, improve procurement processes, and support business productivity objectives.
• Manage commercial aspects of supplier agreements and support resolution of supplier performance or contractual issues.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and contractual standards.
