Job summary

Greenbrier group is seeking an experienced European Category Leader MRO to manage the procurement strategy across multiple manufacturing sites in Poland and Romania. The ideal candidate will define sourcing strategies, lead sourcing events, and manage supplier performance in a heavy-industry environment.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in indirect procurement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with Eastern European markets. The position supports operational performance while driving cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience managing MRO, energy, or services categories in a multi-site environment.
• Proficient in data-driven spend analysis using tools like Power BI or Excel.
• Experience working with Eastern European supply markets.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the European Category Strategy for all indirect spend.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events from RFx to contracting.
• Manage currency and commodity risk exposure within the indirect portfolio.
