Job summary

Greenbrier Europe seeks a European Category Leader MRO to own indirect procurement across three manufacturing sites in Poland and Romania. You will drive total cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and category excellence while ensuring sourcing of indirect goods and services in a heavy-industry setting focused on freight wagon production.

You will define category strategy, lead RFx processes, manage supplier panels, and coordinate with plant management in Poland and Romania to align plans

Qualifications

• 5+ years in indirect procurement or category procurement.
• Experience managing MRO, energy, or services across multiple sites.
• Experience with Eastern European markets (Poland/Romania preferred).
• Strong contract law knowledge and SLA negotiation ability.
• Proficient in data-driven spend analysis using BI/Excel tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the European Category Strategy for indirect spend across three sites.
• Develop multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with operational/financial targets.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events: RFx, negotiation, contracting, onboarding.
