Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Łódź to service, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment across hospitals. This field-based role combines technical work with customer interaction, requiring travel within the Łódź region and continuous learning in healthcare technologies.

The ideal candidate has a degree in electronics/engineering, strong IT foundations, 0–2 years’ device experience, and proficiency in Polish and English (B2).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundations in electronics and IT/computer systems.
• 0-2 years of experience servicing medical devices.
• Good command of Polish and English (minimum B2).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and troubleshoot Philips Healthcare equipment to the highest quality standards.
• Respond to emergency equipment failures and provide timely corrective actions, including next-day on-site support.
• Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, and corrective repairs to keep systems running reliably.
• Collaborate with technical support, logistics, and customers to deliver exceptional service.
• Continuously develop expertise by learning about the latest healthcare technologies.
• Ensure critical medical devices are ready when needed to support patient care.
