Job summary

ASBIS is seeking a skilled assembler to join our production team. You will assemble and fine‑tune machines and mechanical components according to engineering drawings, ensuring precision and quality.

You will read diagrams, use measuring tools, and assist in maintaining equipment while adhering to safety standards. The role requires relocation to Cyprus, teamwork, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar field.

Qualifications

• Reading mechanical and assembly drawings, diagrams and specifications.
• Attention to detail and precision in assembly work.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety standards.
• Experience with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges).
• Relocation to Cyprus is required.
• English and Russian language proficiency are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units and components according to drawings and technical docs.
• Fit, finish, mark, and adjust parts before assembly.
• Install, align, and test assembled units and mechanisms.
• Mount components using hand/power tools, presses and fixtures.
• Perform drilling, threading, grinding, polishing and other fitting operations.
• Inspect assembly quality and address defects.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Maintain discipline and accuracy during assembly.
• Comply with safety and fire protection regulations.
• Support maintenance and repair of production equipment as needed.

Job description

This person will be responsible for assembling and fine-tuning mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. They will also perform inspections, use measuring instruments, and support equipment maintenance while strictly adhering to safety and technical standards.

*Assembly workshops have air-conditioning systems (air conditioning, free coffee and tea and it is work in one location inside the industrial/office space).*

Responsibilities:

• Assembling units, components, and mechanisms of machines in accordance with engineering drawings and technical documentation;
• Fitting, finishing, marking, and adjusting parts prior to assembly;
• Installing, aligning, and testing assembled units and mechanisms;
• Mounting and securing components using hand and power tools, presses, and fixtures;
• Performing drilling, threading, filing, grinding, polishing, and other fitting operations;
• Inspecting the quality of assembly and eliminating detected defects;
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications;
• Maintaining technological discipline and accuracy standards during assembly operations;
• Using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges;
• Complying with occupational safety, health, and fire protection regulations;
• Participating in maintenance and repair of production equipment, when required.

Requirements:

• Accuracy and attention to detail;
• Responsibility and discipline;
• Ability to work effectively in a team;
• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering principles, machine design, assembly, and adjustment methods.
• Relocation to Cyprus.
• At least 3 years of experience in this or a similar field.
• Ability to read mechanical and assembly drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation;
• English and Russian language is mandatory
