Wärtsilä is seeking an In-Situ Service Coordinator Central Europe for the Central Europe region with a focus on the Gdansk area. The role coordinates international on-site service activities, plans field service engineers and subcontractors, and acts as the main liaison between customers, ship owners, shipyards, agents and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a vocational qualification or technical degree, demonstrates strong organisational skills, and communicates effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in service coordination, project coordination or similar role is an advantage.
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate international in-situ service assignments from customer request through execution and project closure.
• Plan and allocate field service engineers, specialists and subcontractors according to project requirements.
• Act as primary point of contact for customers, ship owners, shipyards, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of service projects, including scheduling, documentation and logistics arrangements.
• Coordinate the availability and delivery of spare parts, tools, measuring equipment and materials for global service activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure effective communication between customers, field service teams, workshops and administration.
• Create purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely project execution.
• Support project performance monitoring, including KPIs such as utilisation, work in progress, lead times and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in identifying risks, resolving operational issues and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Wärtsilä safety requirements, quality standards and ISO processes.
