Job summary

Vos Logistics invites an experienced Fleet Services Manager to lead a 6-person team across Romania, Poland and the Netherlands. You will oversee maintenance, inspections, and cost control while driving fleet efficiency and regulatory compliance.

You will negotiate with workshops and suppliers, monitor KPIs, and support purchasing new trucks and trailers. Strong English, travel readiness, and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management, preferably in international logistics or transport.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including repair and maintenance.
• Experience in negotiating terms with suppliers, workshops and service partners.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written; other languages are a plus.
• Experience managing a distributed team across multiple countries.
• Data analysis skills and experience with fleet management systems; knowledge of Ultimo is a plus.
• Knowledge of European transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Romania, Poland and the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

As Manager Fleet Services, you will be responsible for both team management and oversight of maintenance, costs, suppliers, documentation, and fleet efficiency across several countries.

In this position, you will manage and develop a 6-person team of Fleet Specialists operating in Romania, Poland, and the Netherlands, ensuring proper division of responsibilities and efficient work organization. You will be responsible for coordinating inspections, repairs, maintenance, and MOT tests for the entire fleet, with particular attention to quality, costs, and minimizing downtime.

An important part of your role will be monitoring KPIs related to costs and equipment availability, and initiating actions to improve them. You will also build and negotiate cooperation terms with workshops and suppliers across Europe, as well as oversee contracts, warranties, and equipment return conditions.

As part of your collaboration with the business, you will support the process of purchasing new trucks and trailers, preparing technical data and working with business unit managers. We will also ensure compliance with legal requirements - you will oversee documentation and permits, and advise the business on regulatory changes affecting the fleet.

Your responsibilities will also include coordinating the introduction and withdrawal of equipment from use, the process of recovering damage costs, and ensuring proper registration of all data in the Ultimo system.

• Experience in fleet management, preferably in an international logistics or transport environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including repair processes, maintenance and equipment specifications.
• Experience in negotiating terms with suppliers, workshops and service partners.
• Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written (other languages will be an additional asset).
• Experience in managing a distributed team working across multiple countries.
• Data analysis skills and experience with fleet management systems; knowledge of Ultimo will be an additional asset.
• Knowledge of European transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Romania, Poland and the Netherlands.
