Job summary

DSV is seeking a senior logistics operations professional to shape central operational models, own key processes, and drive standardisation across its distribution network. You will lead change initiatives, promote best practices, and support integrating diverse teams into a cohesive system.

The role focuses on strategic thinking translated into practical actions, managing data-driven KPIs, and guiding teams through transformation in a dynamic, global logistics environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing logistics operations in a large-scale environment.
  • Experience in centralised structures or multi-location operations.
  • Ability to translate strategic thinking into concrete operational actions.
  • Experience in standardising and optimising processes.
  • Strong data analytics and KPI experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams.
  • Ability to drive transformation in a changing environment.
  • Good command of English.
  • Category B driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Shaping and developing the operational model for the Collection and Distribution division at central level.
  • Owning key operational processes and ensuring consistency and efficiency across units.
  • Ensuring uniform operational standards and high efficiency throughout the network.
  • Initiating and leading operational changes with local teams.
  • Identifying and promoting best operational practices across the organisation.
  • Contributing to the integration of operations—combining models, teams, and methods.
  • Coordinating cooperation between local structures and establishing a common standard of operation.
  • Ensuring continuity and stability of processes during organisational changes.
  • Supporting teams in adapting to new solutions and maintaining a uniform approach to objectives.

Job description

YOUR TASKS
  • Shaping and developing the operational model for the Collection and Distribution division at central level,
  • Acting as the owner of key operational processes and ensuring their consistency and efficiency across different units,
  • Ensuring uniform operational standards and high operational efficiency throughout the network,
  • Initiating and leading operational changes in collaboration with local teams,
  • Identifying, implementing and promoting best operational practices within the organisation,
  • Playing an active role in the organisation's integration process - combining operational models, teams and working methods into a coherent, effective system,
  • Coordinating cooperation between local structures and establishing a single, common standard of operation following integration,
  • Ensuring operational continuity and process stability during organisational changes,
  • Supporting teams in adapting to new solutions and building a consistent approach to achieving objectives across the organisation.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
  • University degree in a field related to logistics and transport would be an advantage,
  • Experience in managing logistics operations (distribution, transport, working with carriers) in a large-scale environment,
  • Experience of working within centralised structures or managing operations across multiple locations,
  • Ability to think strategically and translate this into specific operational actions,
  • Experience in managing, standardising and optimising processes,
  • Very good analytical skills and experience in working with data and KPIs,
  • Well-developed leadership skills and experience in managing teams or managerial staff,
  • Ability to work in a changing environment and lead an organisation through a transformation process,
  • Ability to foster cooperation between different teams and stakeholders,
  • Knowledge of employment law and health and safety standards.
  • Good command of English enabling fluent communication,
  • Category B driving licence.
