Job summary

UPM-Kymmene Sp.z o.o. in Wroclaw seeks an AI Transformation Enablement Manager to drive the execution of the AI strategy within the Business Hub Poland.

You will work closely with Hub leadership, the AI Program, and AI CoE to translate priorities into practical initiatives, accelerate adoption and scaling of AI solutions, and turn opportunities into measurable value. You will influence the hub’s AI governance, coordinate enablement across delivery towers, and ensure AI integration with processes

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in digital or AI transformation roles.
• Strong understanding of AI/GenAI in business operations.
• Experience driving adoption of digital solutions in complex environments.
• Ability to translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and tech functions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Hub AI roadmap in collaboration with Hub management, AI Program, and AI CoE, ensuring alignment with the overall UPM AI roadmap and priorities.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize Hub AI opportunities linked to value creation (efficiency, quality, working capital, experience).
• Coordinate AI enablement within the Business Hub aligned with AI strategy and governance.
• Scale existing AI solutions and develop new AI use cases as agreed with AI Program.
• Drive adoption of AI solutions across delivery towers including change management.
• Ensure AI solutions integrate with Hub processes, data models, and digital platforms.
• Monitor performance and value realization of AI initiatives within the Hub.
• Support portfolio governance and planning with input on AI initiatives and scaling potential.
• Promote AI literacy and knowledge sharing across the Business Hub to accelerate responsible AI adoption.
• Ensure compliant deployment of AI programs with security and governance principles.

We are now looking for an AI Transformation Enablement Manager to join our team in UPM Business Hub Poland in Wrocław.

What you’ll do

• Execute the Hub AI roadmap in collaboration with Hub management, AI Program, and AI CoE, ensuring alignment with the overall UPM AI roadmap and priorities.
• When relevant, contribute to identifying, assessing, and prioritizing Hub related AI opportunities with clear linkage to value creation (efficiency, quality, working capital, experience)
• Ensure and coordinate AI enablement within the Business Hub in alignment with UPM AI strategy, AI Program priorities and governance, Hub priorities and industrialization roadmap
• Drive scaling of existing AI solutions into the Hub and support development of new AI use cases where agreed with AI Program
• Enable adoption of AI solutions across delivery towers, including change management and capability building
• Ensure integration of AI solutions with Hub process architecture, data models, and digital platforms in line with UPM AI governance, portfolio and architecture principles
• Monitor performance and value realization of AI initiatives and ensure continuous improvement within Hub’s circle of influence
• Support portfolio governance and planning by providing input on AI initiatives, dependencies, and scaling potential according to UPM practices or requests from AI Program or AI CoE
• Promote AI literacy, knowledge sharing and best practices across the Business Hub to accelerate responsible AI adoption
• Ensure AI solutions are deployed and used in accordance with AI Program, UPM security, compliance, data governance and responsible AI principles

Who you are

• You have a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in digital or AI transformation roles
• You have a strong understanding of AI/GenAI applications in business operations
• You have experience driving adoption and scaling digital solutions in complex environments
• You have the ability to translate business needs into AI-enabled solutions
• You have strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology functions

This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration in Wrocław. The position holder will report to Director, Digital, Data, AI and Service Excellence.
