Job summary

Eviden (Atos) is seeking a Mainframe IMS Specialist to maintain IBM IMS environments on IBM z/OS. You will administer IMS DB/IMS TM/DC, assist with installation, upgrades, and performance tuning while collaborating with global teams and customers.

The role requires strong analytical skills, independence, and teamwork. Experience with JCL/TSO/ISPF/SDSF/VSAM is essential, with additional DB2, MQ, COBOL or CICS exposure a plus. Hybrid/workflow from Poland is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM z/OS and IMS environments.
• Hands-on work with IMS DB/IMS TM/DC preferred.
• Knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF and VSAM.
• Familiarity with DB2, MQ, COBOL, PL/I, Java or CICS is a plus.
• Certification in IBM Z or related programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain IMS DB/IMS TM/DC environments.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IMS components.
• Monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot incidents and contribute to problem resolution.
• Participate in changes, automation, and modernization efforts.
• Document operations and support backup/recovery processes.
