Job summary
Atos Poland is seeking a Senior Mainframe CICS/MQ Administrator to join the Mainframe Operations team. The successful candidate will manage IBM CICS and MQ environments on z/OS to ensure high availability, security, and performance for mission-critical systems.
The role includes incident handling, change execution, and DR planning. Requirements include 8+ years of hands-on Mainframe experience, expertise with CICS/MQ, and familiarity with mainframe monitors (BMC AMI Ops, CA Sysview).
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer for CICS and MQ on z/OS.
- Experience with mainframe performance monitors (e.g., BMC AMI Ops, CA Sysview).
- Strong understanding of CICS and MQ architectural concepts.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills under high-pressure conditions.
- Knowledge of Change and Incident Management processes.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CICS TS and MQ on z/OS.
- Plan, script, and execute DR procedures for CICS/MQ environments.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical production systems.
- Prepare technical documentation and support incident management.
