The position involves debugging, performance tuning, and collaborating with distributed teams across the globe to deliver high-quality mainframe solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with IBM High-Level Assembler (HLASM) on IBM z/OS.
• Strong understanding of JCL, VSAM, CICS and DB2.
• Knowledge of IMS is a plus.
• Familiarity with source code management and change management tools (Endevor/Changeman/ISPW).

Responsibilities

• Develop and support IBM mainframe applications using HLASM.
• Debug and tune performance of assembler workloads on z/OS.
• Collaborate with global teams and production support processes.
• Maintain and utilize mainframe utilities (TSO/ISPF, SDSF).

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in IBM High-Level Assembler (HLASM).
• Expertise in IBM z/OS operating system.
• Good understanding of:
• JCL (Job Control Language)
• VSAM
• CICS
• DB2
• IMS (preferred)
• TSO/ISPF
• SDSF
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning Assembler applications.
• Knowledge of mainframe utilities and production support processes.
• Familiarity with source code management and change management tools such as Endevor, Changeman, or ISPW.
