Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Warsaw seeks an IT M&A Director to lead our Technology M&A team within Strategy & Transactions, driving end-to-end advisory for IT-related transactions across industries. You will develop new client opportunities, guide due diligence, Day 1 readiness, carve-out, and PMO integration for tech assets.

The role requires 8+ years in Technology M&A, strong client-facing consulting experience, and fluency in English and Polish, with a track record of leadership and delivering complex

The opportunity

For our fast-growing Team, we are looking for a candidate to join the Strategy & Transactions Technology Team, focused on providing full support for transaction services dedicated to our clients, who are the biggest and most impactful companies across the globe. We are seeking to further expand our team with IT M&A Consultants who work across a range of sectors. You’ll advise clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for transactions using your intellectual guile and enthusiasm to apply your technical skills across the M&A and transformation lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Act as a true team leader of EYP Technology M&A team,
• Drive business development, establish relationship with key stakeholders across EY, take part in negotiations with clients and be responsible for our go to market strategy,
• Develop and manage IT related M&A projects – end-to-end from Due Diligence over Day 1 preparation to Carve‑out / Post Merger Integration for technology part of transaction,
• Being a mentor for our Technology consultants and manage the team during projects.

Your background

• Technology M&A - related experience for 8+ years. IT M&A / IT / Technology Strategy or similar positions (e.g. in Technology Consulting) will be treated as a great plus,
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and consulting attitude - can demonstrate the skills and experience required to operate in a client‑facing role within a professional services firm,
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills,
• Ability to perform analysis and synthesize data into useful insights,
• Polish language (native or C2), excellent written and verbal command of English (min. C1).
