Human Equation in Warsaw is seeking an M&A Director to directly influence portfolio company performance within a EuropeanGroup partner. The role focuses on budgeting, KPI development, and investment evaluation across multiple portfolio companies, with collaboration across CFOs and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate combines investment experience with hands-on operational focus, fluent English, and the ability to drive value creation in a fast-moving private equity environment.

Qualifications

• Portfolio budgeting, financial performance management and KPI monitoring from an investor's perspective.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis skills.
• Ability to combine analytical thinking with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach.
• Experience engaging with senior management and influencing strategic decisions.
• Excellent English; Polish is considered an advantage.
• Experience in the retail or consumer sector is highly desirable.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling financial forecasts across portfolio companies.
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks to monitor financial and operational performance.

• Prepare investment papers and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Work closely with CFOs and management teams across the portfolio companies to drive strategic initiativesand value creation.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with senior management teams and influencing strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Polish is considered an advantage.
• Experience in the retail or consumer sector is highly desirable.
