Job summary

Ericsson GmbH in Łódź is seeking an LTE Developer for a 1-year internship to join our Software Development Team. You will work on 4G OneRAN projects, focusing on deployment features and testing.

Development is mainly in C++, with OpenShift and cloud components, and you will gain experience in virtualization, AI-related tools, and rigorous software quality practices.

You will be mentored in agile teams, with 40 hours per week, and receive a paid civil-contract internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Required knowledge: C++, Git, software development, testing, and troubleshooting.
• OpenShift and Cloud Computing are desirable.
• Interest in AI and ML; experience with AI tools in programming or testing.
• Proficient English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodology to design, develop, and implement 4G OneRAN solutions.
• Influence development of Traffic Control, Baseband, and System functionalities.
• Optimize and tune performance of software components.
• Provide technical support for development teams.
• Develop competencies in a complex technical domain.
• Lead technical discussions on software quality with global teams.
