Job summary

AUTODOC is seeking a Logistics Process Engineer to design layouts for distribution centers, covering storage, picking, packing and dispatch areas, and to assess the feasibility of new configurations. You will translate requirements into detailed technical specifications and engineering documentation.

You will conduct capacity analyses, validate design assumptions, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, OHS, and Fulfillment Excellence teams, with occasional travel across AUTODOC sites in

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in logistics, industrial, or systems engineering, preferably warehouse projects.
• Strong layout and material-flow design, equipment specification, and feasibility/capacity analysis.
• Experience presenting analyses and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, tender prep, and technical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design layouts and system concepts for AUTODOC’s Distribution Centers (storage, picking, packing, dispatch).
• Assess feasibility of layouts; ensure scalability, safety and performance.
• Translate requirements into layouts, equipment lists, and material-flow concepts; document engineering work.
• Perform capacity, throughput, and space-utilization analyses to validate designs.
• Present analyses and project results to stakeholders across the organization.
• Support implementation of new/upgraded systems with suppliers, contractors, and internal PMs.
• Ensure designs comply with fire protection, OHS, and building regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation for tenders and review supplier proposals.
