In this role you’ll be working as part of our Supply Chain organization, ensuring the efficient, safe and timely operation of warehouse, logistics and customer service activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control and material flow, supply of production lines and Repair Centers, and execution of customer shipments.
What you will do:
- Lead and develop the Warehouse and Logistics team, ensuring effective organization, staffing, performance and operational continuity
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, issuing and control of materials
- Optimize warehouse capacity, infrastructure and material flows, including the Kardex automated storage system and high-bay racking
- Ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity, including stock control, cycle counting, annual inventory and accurate SAP transactions
- Ensure timely and continuous material supply to Production and Repair Centers, managing internal material flows and the Milk Run replenishment system
- Manage cooperation with the external warehouse, ensuring material availability, accurate inventory records and efficient transfers between locations
- Oversee shipping operations for products, spare parts and other shipments, ensuring timely execution and compliance with customer, customs and transport requirements
- Supervise Logistics and Customer Service activities, ensuring effective coordination with Sales, Production, Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain
- Own and improve logistics and warehouse KPIs, identify root causes of issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve performance
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, including Kaizen, 5S and waste elimination, to improve efficiency, quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness of end-to-end material flow
What you need to have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in logistics, with a minimum of 5 years as a manager for mid-size team (20+)
- Experience in transportation and import/export process
- Experience with Lean methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping,...
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience of working with SAP
- Good English skills (at least B2 level)
