Capgemini Polska Sp. z o.o. in Katowice seeks a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain robust Linux environments for a major energy sector client.

You’ll implement automation, manage VMware-based deployments, and ensure reliable storage with LVM and NFS, while collaborating with global technical teams. The role requires hands-on experience with Linux servers, Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, and scripting in Bash or Python.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and administering Linux servers.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite
• Experience working with VMWare for deploying and managing Linux systems
• Good understanding of LVM, NFS, automount, and storage management
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and manage changes
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)
• Scripting skills (bash, Python, Perl)
• Motivation to learn, solve complex issues, and contribute to long-term improvements
• Willingness and ability to work in a rotational 24/7 shift model

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Linux hosts and server environments
