Capgemini Invent is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Linux & Database) to ensure stability, performance, and reliability of transactional systems. You will work across Linux, databases, and automation tools, investigating issues and supporting day-to-day operations.

The role requires hands-on Linux, SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL), and scripting skills, with familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments. Hybrid work from Kraków is expected, with periodic weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting transactional systems.
• Strong Linux command-line proficiency.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, support, and maintain transactional systems to ensure stability and performance.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and operational issues.
• Work with Linux environments and command-line tools in daily operations.
• Analyze and manage data within relational databases; write complex queries.
• Develop and use Bash or Python scripts to automate processes.
• Support containerized and cloud-based environments, including Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
