Job summary

SustainRecruit is seeking a Linux Engineer for a Warsaw-based project with a key client. The role requires moving from VMware to Google Cloud (GCE), patch management using Red Hat Satellite, and strong Bash scripting with Python/Perl.

Candidates should have solid experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+, Ansible, Git and Jira, and be able to work on-site in Warsaw three days a week for an initial six-month engagement with extensions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+ environments.
• Experience migrating from VMware to Google Cloud (GCE).
• Strong Bash scripting and scripting languages (Python, Perl).
• Experience with Ansible and configuration management.
• Familiarity with Git and Jira.
• Willingness to work in-office 3 days/week in Warsaw on a 6‑month engagement with extensions.

SustainRecruit are looking for a Linux Engineer to work on a project with a key client of ours based in Warsaw, Poland. This is a urgent requirement for our customer with the ability to move very quickly and we are looking for those who can be in office 3 days per week on an initial 6 month engagement + extensions.

We are looking for the following:

• GCE and migration from Vmware to GCE
• Redhat Satellite patch management and automation
• High proficiency in Bash scripting and dynamic programming languages (Python, Perl)
• Extensive experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+ environments
• Proficiency with software development tools including GIT and Jira
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
