Job summary

Alstom in Chorzów is seeking a full-time Line Manager to lead production operations on site, driving continuous improvement and ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate production plans with EPU managers and production planners, supervise teams, analyze metrics, and implement Lean methods to meet deadlines and optimize performance across the line.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Experience or understanding of production planning and organization.
  • Familiarity with key production metrics and their analysis.
  • Communicative English and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Practical knowledge of quality and lean manufacturing tools.
  • Knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to manage and lead a subordinate team effectively.
  • Knowledge of labor law, particularly regarding working time calculation.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating production process in your area.
  • Supervising production line and work of EPU managers and their teams.
  • Organize and manage the production plan, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Continuously improve production process, using APSYS and Lean manufacturing tools.
  • Resolving issues arising on the line during the process.
  • Ensuring safety on the production line, and collaborating with support functions.

You'll play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a safe, collaborative work environment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (EPU managers, production planners, and quality assurance teams), manage and optimize the production process according to plan, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production standards—and much more.

We’ll look to you for:
  • managing and coordinating production process in your area,
