Job summary

Alstom in Poland is seeking a full-time EHS Specialist in Chorzów to strengthen health and safety standards across our manufacturing operations. You will implement and update safety and quality controls, and work with production, engineering and customer services to ensure safe, reliable solutions.

You’ll lead health and safety trainings, perform safety inspections, assess instructions and validate workstations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in health and safety roles; minimum 1 year in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems and environmental protection.
  • Understanding of relevant safety and environmental laws.
  • Training of Fire Protection Inspector

Responsibilities

  • Performing health & safety trainings for new Alstom employees and for contractors.
  • Performing safety inspections on the production areas.
  • Assessment of instructions and procedures.
  • Workstation validation and validation of equipment

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your quality engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You’ll ensure the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes and products, directly contributing to the safety and reliability of our solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as production, engineering, and customer services).

You’ll specifically take care of implementing and updating quality control plans during pre- and serial manufacturing activities, but also support non-conformance resolution and customer inspections.
