Job description

Space is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites launch every year, and the market behind them is booming - with Poland right in the middle of it, home to a fast-rising space sector.

Liftero is at the heart of this trend. We build propulsion systems for the thousands of spacecraft coming to orbit, with the ambition to become the global leader in satellite propulsion - the transport layer of the space economy. Our goal is clear: deploy 1,000 propulsion systems in space.

Our core product is Booster, a non-toxic chemical propulsion system built from first principles for the NewSpace era. It has already been validated in space.

As a fast-scaling company, we combine agility with long-term ambition to serve the booming small-satellite market. Joining now means a front-row seat to space technology and real ownership over what we build.

At Liftero, we fly things!

Position Overview

Recruiting for a growing space hardware company means reaching a narrow, highly specialized talent pool of engineers (mechanics, propulsion, electronics) ready for on-site work in our production facility and cleanrooms. We are looking for talent that combines a zero-failure engineering mindset with the agility required to scale up to serial production.

That is why we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a pivotal role in scaling our organization: attracting engineering and business talent while ensuring that every new hire is a strong match for our culture.

In this role, we value a proactive sourcing mindset, reaching out directly to experts across niche, global markets. If you know how to build lasting relationships and delivering an outstanding candidate experience at every stage is second nature to you, join our team!

Your Daily Impact

End-to-End Recruitment Management: Managing the full employment lifecycle, from in-depth briefing sessions with hiring managers and defining outreach strategies to screening, interviewing, extending offers, and pre-onboarding.

Proactive Direct Search & Market Mapping: Mapping talent markets (New Space, Aerospace) and engaging passive specialists who rarely browse job boards through advanced sourcing techniques.

Exemplary Candidate Experience: Ensuring partner-driven, transparent communication and delivering a positive experience for every candidate, from initial contact to post-process feedback.

Culture Fit & Mindset Assessment: Ensuring candidate alignment with a culture built on innovation, accountability, ownership, and teamwork.

Partnering with Technical Leaders: Working closely with hiring managers, providing market insights, defining job profiles, and reporting on recruitment funnels and pipeline metrics.

People & Culture Initiatives: Actively supporting the P&C team with employer branding projects, attendance at job fairs and industry conferences, employee referral programs, and team engagement initiatives.

Is This You?

2+ years of independent, end-to-end tech recruiting under your belt, ideally within Deep Tech, Hardware Engineering, Embedded Systems, Aerospace, Automotive R&D, or Defense.

Sourcing is your superpower. You move comfortably beyond basic LinkedIn filters, leveraging modern multi-channel sourcing strategies to engage hard-to-find engineering talent.

You speak the language of hardware and deep tech. You already understand the nuances of engineering recruitment, or you possess the natural curiosity needed to quickly get up to speed on space systems jargon and specs.

You know how to sell a bold vision. You know how to pitch our bold vision to candidates, inspiring them to join our journey.

You are fluent in English (min. C1). Conducting in-depth candidate screens and collaborating across a diverse, international team feels completely second nature to you.

You combine emotional intelligence with cultural intuition. You genuinely care about candidate experience and relationship-building.

You think bigger than just "closing tickets." You want to actively shape our employer brand, co-create People & Culture initiatives, and contribute directly to building company culture.

We Fly Things, Literally: A front-row seat to the space industry. You will scout and hire top-tier talent for flight-proven hardware projects, leaving a direct mark on real orbital missions.

Private healthcare and MultiSport card.

Training Budget: Dedicated funding for professional certifications, courses, and skill development.

Work Model: Hybrid setup with regular presence required at our Kraków office.
