Liftero in Krakow is seeking a hands-on technician to turn engineering designs into operational propulsion hardware. You will assemble, test, and verify equipment, manage the workshop, and support R&D with testing and assembly of propulsion systems.
The role demands practical skills, strong tool proficiency, and a proactive mindset. Fluent Polish and good English are required; on-site work is mandatory in Krakow.
The space sector is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world. Thousands of satellites are launched into orbit each year, and the market driving them is experiencing a real boom – with Poland actively participating as a dynamically growing technology hub. Liftero is right at the center of this transformation. We build propulsion systems for thousands of spacecraft, striving to become a global leader in satellite propulsion – the transport backbone of the space economy. Our goal is clear: to put 1,000 propulsion systems into orbit. Our flagship product is BOOSTER – a non-toxic, chemical propulsion system designed from scratch for the NewSpace era, which has already successfully been validated in space. As a scaling company, we combine agility with a long-term vision. Joining us at this stage guarantees a direct impact on the development of space technologies and real co-creation of our products. At Liftero we fly things!
We are looking for a candidate with a practical technical mindset to help us turn engineering designs into fully operational devices. This role involves assembling, testing, and verifying equipment against documentation, as well as keeping the workshop and test rigs fully operational.
We are looking for someone with a technical mindset and a hands-on approach. You don't need experience in every single area - if you have solid technical fundamentals, manual dexterity, and a strong drive to learn and take initiative, we’d love to meet you!
Less waiting for instructions, more initiative. If you're reliable, sharp with tools, and driven to keep our technical backbone operating at 100% - you sound like a perfect match!
Working at Liftero is meaningful, fast-paced, and human. We’re not trying to copy corporate culture or pretend that work is your second home - we respect your time, your life outside of work, and the fact that we’re all just people. If you're having a tough day, say it - we’ll work it out. If you’re in flow and want to build through the night, we trust you to manage your own time.
Building serious space tech takes focus, dedication, and real effort. It can be demanding - but it’s also where you’ll grow, both professionally and personally.
We’ve created a unique company culture that’s shaped by mutual respect and a shared drive to build things that fly. Whether you’re loud and all-in, or more quiet and independent - there’s space for you here.
We work in our own project management framework, refined over years of iteration. It helps us move quickly, stay flexible, and give every team member a real voice in shaping the final product.
