Job summary

Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland Ltd in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Legal Entity Controller to oversee financial reporting for European entities. You will coordinate with Tax, FP&A and Group reporting to ensure timely, accurate statutory accounts and robust control environments.

The role involves guidance on journals, month-end close, intercompany processes and regulatory deliverables, with exposure to US GAAP and IFRS. You will liaise with external auditors and senior management.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 2–3 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in financial services or commodity broking/trading preferred.
• Exposure to consolidation accounting and complex reporting.
• Ability to review journals and assist with month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly and quarterly reports for assigned entities with deadlines.
• Advise operational accounting, Tax and FP&A teams on journals for month-end close.
• Prepare and review standard and non-standard journals for month-end close.
• Maintain and strengthen the control environment across entities.
• Produce statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Lead monthly reviews of entity results with CFOs and Group FC.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and regulatory deliverables (ICARA, wind-down).
• Review corporation tax provisions and intercompany flows.
