Job summary

Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a Legal Entity Controller in Warsaw, Poland to manage monthly/quarterly reporting, journal posting and balance sheet controls for European entities. You will liaise with Tax, FP&A and Treasury and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.

The role requires 2–3 years post-qualification experience, ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CA qualifications, and strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge. Office-based in Warsaw with cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 2–3 years post-qualification experience in financial services.
• ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CA qualifications required.
• Experience in legal entity / financial control position.
• Experience in statutory financial statement preparation.
• Strong accounting, analytical and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of consolidation accounting, impairment and minority interests.
• UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS and US GAAP knowledge advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly and quarterly reports for assigned entities.
• Advise and assist operational accounting, Tax and FP&A teams for month-end close.
• Prepare non-standard journals for month end close where needed.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and strengthen control environment.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely sign-off of audited accounts.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and regulatory deliverables.
