Job summary

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead initiatives improving efficiency, quality, and productivity in our Isolation & Components Factory in Poland. You will drive waste reduction with Lean, mentor teams, and implement ITM and CI systems to raise organizational maturity.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, have experience in Lean/CI, and communicate fluently in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Production Engineering, or Process Optimization.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating waste using Lean methodologies and tools.
• Lead and support optimization projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and productivity.
• Implement Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) and Continuous Improvement systems to raise organizational maturity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and implement Lean solutions.
• Monitor and report process performance indicators and drive corrective actions.
• Provide training and support in project management and continuous improvement methods.
• Promote quality culture and influence decisions through continuous improvement initiatives.
