Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland Sp. z o.o. in Lodz, Poland, seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive Lean initiatives in our Isolation & Components Factory.

You will lead projects to boost quality, productivity and efficiency while eliminating waste using 5S, Kaizen, TPM and Value Stream Mapping. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering and has proven Lean, CI, and process optimization experience, with English and Polish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Production Engineering, or Process Optimization.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.
• Excellent command of English & Polish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating waste using Lean methodologies and tools (5S, Kaizen, TPM, VSM).
• Lead and support optimization projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and productivity enhancement.
• Implement and develop Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) and Continuous Improvement systems to raise organizational maturity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and implement Lean solutions.
• Monitor, analyze, and report process performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to teams in project management, reporting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Promote a strong quality culture and influence organizational decisions through continuous improvement initiatives.
