Job summary

Rebel Wolves in Warsaw is seeking a Lead Writer to guide the narrative team on our AAA dark fantasy RPG. You will manage a writers team, shape story arcs, and craft dialogue and cutscenes in collaboration with the Narrative Director.

You can work on-site in Warsaw or remotely. We value strong writing, leadership, and a passion for immersive storytelling, plus the ability to adapt plots to gameplay while maintaining voice and lore across the project.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills with documented successes.
• Native or near-native fluency in English.
• Experience in team management and leadership.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 6+ years as a writer/narrative designer in games with notable achievements.
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine and dialogue tools.
• Ability to craft interactive, non-linear stories.
• Ability to adapt stories to gameplay without losing writing quality.
• Basic IT fluency and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and support the Writers Team.
• Collaborate with the Narrative Director and other leads.
• Review and improve story pitches, outlines and dialogues.
• Craft stories, write dialogues, cutscenes and on-screen text.
• Create internal documentation and maintain lore consistency.
• Collaborate with PR/Marketing and Localization.
• Work with VO artists and directors.
• Ensure writing meets game design and technical needs.
