Job summary

Rebel Wolves is seeking a Lead Writer to lead the Narrative Team in Warsaw or remotely. You’ll manage a team of writers, develop high-quality story concepts, and collaborate with directors to ensure narrative excellence across the game.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in game writing, fluent English, and strong leadership. You’ll craft dialogues, lore, and non-linear narratives, while aligning writing with gameplay and production timelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills with proven successes.
• Native or near-native fluency in English.
• Experience in leading and managing a writers team.
• Minimum 6 years as a writer/narrative designer in games.
• Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine and dialogue tools.

Responsibilities

• Managing, feedbacking and supporting the Writers Team.
• Collaborating with the Narrative Director and other Team Leads.
• Reviewing and improving story pitches, outlines and dialogs.
• Crafting stories and writing dialogues for the game.
• Writing cutscenes, CGI scripts, and on-screen in-game documents.
• Creating internal documentation and ensuring lore consistency.
