Job summary

Altium Limited seeks a UX Researcher to shape end-to-end experiences across Altium 365. You’ll run conversations, test ideas before we build, and keep insights accessible across design, PM, and engineering teams.

This is a hands-on role with autonomy, owning the research practice and aligning decisions with real user insights. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers, run user interviews and usability tests, and contribute to a robust, searchable insights

Qualifications

• 3+ years in UX/product research or closely adjacent role with hands-on research work
• Qualitative methods mastery; ability to design a survey and interpret product analytics
• Experience testing prototypes at different fidelities and knowing what each stage reveals
• Clear, concise communication that lands with skeptical stakeholders
• Comfort in ambiguity; ability to scope research to fit timelines
• Familiarity with research ops tooling (Dovetail, Condens, Maze, UserTesting) or similar
• English at professional level

Responsibilities

• Talk to users frequently: recruit, screen, schedule, and manage incentives
• Conduct interviews, contextual inquiries, diary studies, and surveys
• Run usability and concept tests on wireframes, prototypes, and live features
• Deliver actionable findings with trade-offs and recommendations
• Build and maintain a searchable, taggable insights repository
• Coach designers and PMs to run lightweight studies and share clear readouts
• Push back when evidence is available and affordable to obtain
