Larian Studios in Poland is seeking a Lead Tools Programmer to guide the Tools team, shape tool strategy, and collaborate with Engine and Gameplay groups to enhance our editor and pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, drive tool design from concept to delivery, and ensure robust UI for internal tools, testing culture, and productive workflows that empower designers and artists to craft high-quality games.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience creating tools for game development.
• Proven leadership in a tools/engine team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong C++, C#, and UI/UX understanding.

Mansioni

• Lead, mentor and coach members of the Tools team.
• Support the Tools Director in planning and delivering tool features.
• Assist with recruiting and developing Tools Programmers.
• Manage code reviews, technical and feature documentation for tools development.
• Collaborate with Engine and Gameplay teams to extend our editor, internal tools and pipelines.
• Design, implement and maintain user interfaces for internal tools.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions to improve productivity.
• Support long-lived internal tools and legacy systems.
