Hitachi Energy in Kraków is seeking a Team Lead to drive software development for mission critical communication systems. You will coordinate agile teams, guide back-end and front-end work, and ensure timely releases across international projects.

You will mentor developers, promote CI/CD practices, and champion code quality, testing, and security. The role requires 3+ years as a team leader, 5+ years in software dev, and a degree in IT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in backend or frontend development.
• At least 3 years in a Team Leader role.
• Experience as Product Owner or Scrum Master is a plus.
• Degree in IT/CS/Telecom.
• Experience with testing and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SW development activities across agile teams.
• Manage the release process ensuring on-time delivery.
• Ensure alignment with project goals and technical requirements.
• Cooperate with Department Leaders, QA, UX and Embedded SW specialists.
• Provide technical mentorship and skills development for team members.
• Drive continuous improvement in SW development processes and tools.
• Lead adoption of AI in SW development.
• Support software development with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Enhance code reviews strategy and coding standards.
• Focus on safety and integrity and responsibility for actions.
