Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC seeks an Application Development Supervisor to oversee enterprise software applications and lead a geographically distributed team of developers. The role coordinates development across time zones, aligns with business objectives, and upholds high standards of code quality and performance.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years in software development with leadership, strong Agile/Scrum experience, and expertise in Angular, C#, .NET, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of software development and team lead experience.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Experience with Angular architecture, component lifecycle, state management, and Web API design.
• Experience with C# and .NET including Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of build pipelines and deployment automation within Azure DevOps.
• Experience with SQL Server, performance tuning, and schema design.
• Knowledge of integrating third-party services, APIs, and enterprise systems (ERP).
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, conduct code reviews, and foster a collaborative development environment.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience coaching junior developers, supporting career growth, and promoting knowledge sharing within teams.

The Application Development Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise software applications, while leading a geographically distributed team of developers. This role involves coordinating development efforts across time zones, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and maintaining high standards of code quality and system performance. The Application Development Supervisor will also facilitate agile best practices, manage project timelines, resolve technical and operational issues, and foster collaboration between cross functional teams.

We value a hybrid work model; therfore this role requires on-site presence in our Krakow office for a minimum of two days per week.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 17000 PLN to 21225 PLN per month. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
