Zusammenfassung

KOSTAL Group, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Lead Requirements Engineer to drive company-wide requirements engineering methodology and standardization across European development teams. You will shape processes, templates, and governance while coordinating with Systems, Software, and Hardware engineering functions.

Your role includes eliciting and analyzing requirements, enabling traceability, and guiding projects through change management within a multinational environment.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in requirements engineering in automotive.
• Extensive experience with complex international automotive development projects.
• Proven experience across multiple technical levels in requirements engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of the complete requirements lifecycle.
• Experience with deriving customer and system requirements across subsystems, hardware, and software.
• Experience introducing or improving requirements engineering processes.
• Good knowledge of traceability to verification and validation.
• Experience with global automotive manufacturers and their requirements.
• Good knowledge of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434.
• Knowledge of agile development and Scrum.
• Solid knowledge of Systems Engineering.
• Experience with IBM DOORS or DOORS Next.
• Experience using Jira.

Aufgaben

• Elicit and analyze customer, stakeholder, system, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Structure and derive requirements across multiple technical levels.
• Transform customer requirements into verifiable system requirements.
• Derive and align subsystem, hardware, and software requirements.
• Ensure that requirements specifications are clear, consistent, complete, and testable.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Align technical requirements with international development, product management, quality, and project teams.
• Ensure bidirectional traceability between customer requirements, system requirements, technical requirements, test cases, and verification results.
• Support planning and execution of requirements reviews.
• Evaluate and manage change requests from a requirements perspective.
• Monitor impact of changes on systems, subsystems, hardware, software, testing, schedules, and risks.
• Support verification and validation of requirements.
• Analyze and improve the quality of requirements and baselines.
• Document and track decisions, assumptions, open issues, and dependencies.
