Job summary

KOSTAL Group in Wrocław is seeking an experienced Lead Requirements Engineer to shape and implement a company-wide approach to requirements engineering. You will drive methodology, governance, and templates across global development projects, spanning customer, system, hardware, and software levels to verification and validation.

You will lead workshops, harmonize practices across locations, and collaborate with Systems, Software, Hardware, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Test and Quality

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical/automotive/mechatronics/computer science or related technical discipline
• Proven experience in requirements engineering within the automotive industry
• Excellent knowledge of the complete requirements lifecycle
• Experience with customer requirements and system requirements derivation
• Experience contributing to introduction or improvement of requirements processes
• Experience with automotive development projects and ISO standards

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyze customer and system requirements across levels
• Transform customer requirements into verifiable system requirements
• Derive and align subsystem, hardware, and software requirements
• Ensure clear, consistent, complete, and testable requirements specifications
• Facilitate requirements workshops with stakeholders
• Align requirements with international development, product management, quality and project teams
• Maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, tests and verifications
• Support governance, reviews, and change management
• Advise project teams on methodological and technical requirements
• Promote standardized understanding of requirements engineering across the organization
• Contribute to SPICE maturity assessments
