Job summary

KOSTAL Group, through its Wrocław-based Automotive Research & Development Center, seeks a PCB layout engineer with 2+ years of experience. You will align with hardware designers, create placement studies and production docs, and support PCB procurement and sample builds.

The role requires knowledge of electronics, EMC, and hardware design, with ECAD tools like Siemens Xpedition or PADS. Automotive experience is a plus, and the team operates in an international, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• minimum 2 years of experience in PCB layout
• degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable field
• good knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, and EMC topics
• experience in hardware design
• experience with ECAD tools (Siemens Xpedition/PADS preferred)
• experience in automotive development is beneficial (preferred)
• personal portfolio is a plus (preferred)

Responsibilities

• align requirements for PCB designs with responsible hardware designers and production facilities
• creating placement studies, layout documentation, and production-specific documents
• supporting the procurement of PCBs and building samples
• collaborating on design rules and introducing new PCB technologies
