Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Project Engineering Manager - Control Systems to coordinate engineers and own engineering progress on assigned projects. You will collaborate with project managers and coordinators to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and successful technical execution.

The role requires fluent English, experience leading engineers, and a strong grasp of schedules, budgets, risks, and the company’s engineering processes.

Qualifications

• English fluency required
• Ability to work with diverse cultures in a global environment
• Strong communication skills for direct customer interaction
• Experience leading other engineers preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly engineering progress reporting to project and management.
• Evaluate risks and escalate where needed.
• Collaborate with system engineers on specifications and product requirements; ensure financial and contractual execution.
• Drive on-time delivery of engineering tasks per P6 schedule and MDR dates.
• Draft and issue technical inquiries (TQs) to customers.
• Ensure engineers on the project follow the SSDS-ENG-9.09 process.
