Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive design and delivery of advanced electrical/electronic systems for industrial and energy applications. You will own engineering workstreams, coordinate with international customers and partners, and guide teams with minimal supervision.
This design-focused role requires strong leadership, state-of-the-art electrical knowledge, and proficiency in schematics, SLDs and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering.
- Experience with electrical/electronic design and AC/DC systems.
- Knowledge of IEC, CE and other international standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight, run design reviews and act as technical contact for projects.
- Deliver electrical/electronic designs, analyses and calculations per standards.
- Produce and maintain schematics, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
- Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality engineering packages with safety and compliance.
- Respond to technical queries and support workshop/offshore activities.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support development of power, control, communication and PCBA systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and promote best engineering practice.
