Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a Material Data Steward Lead (Supply Chain Planning) to support Enterprise Data Governance for Material data, with focus on Supply Chain Planning in Kraków, Poland or Vitoria, Spain.

You will partner with global data governance teams, local business units, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure Material data is well-defined and governed across enterprise systems. The role embeds data governance into key Supply Chain initiatives, supporting data quality, cataloging,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Governance or Data Management in a global CPG environment.
• 5+ years of functional experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Strong Material domain and Supply Chain Planning knowledge.
• Experience with cataloging, metadata management, and data quality processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear data requirements and governance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support data assessments, DQ rules, cataloging, Data requirements reviews, and subject area confirmations.
• Monitor data quality, support remediation, and perform root cause analysis.
• Identify critical data elements, dependencies, risks, and business rules across Material data.
• Validate definitions, standards, catalog attributes, and governance documentation.
• Collaborate with business, technical, governance, and domain teams to drive standards adoption.
• Recommend process and tool improvements based on recurring data issues.
