Résumé du poste

Transition Technologies PSC seeks an experienced Senior Assembler (HLASM) developer to design, optimize, and maintain Assembly applications on IBM mainframe systems. You will work with z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, and JCL, diagnosing complex production issues and improving reliability.

You will mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to modernization initiatives, integrating Assembler with COBOL, PL/I, and Java. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

min 7+ years of experience in Assembler development.
Strong knowledge of IBM Mainframe technologies.
Experience with performance tuning and low-level debugging.
Understanding of system programming, memory management, and dumps analysis.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

Develop, maintain, and optimize Assembler (HLASM) applications.
Work within IBM z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, and JCL environments.
Troubleshoot complex production issues using Abend-AID, OMEGAMON, IBM Debug Tool, and Fault Analyzer.
Improve system performance and reliability.
Integrate Assembler modules with COBOL, PL/I, and Java applications.
Support modernization initiatives and mentor less experienced team members.
