Job summary

Transition Technologies PSC seeks an experienced Senior Assembler (HLASM) developer to design, optimize, and maintain Assembly applications on IBM mainframe systems. You will work with z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, and JCL, diagnosing complex production issues and improving reliability.

You will mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to modernization initiatives, integrating Assembler with COBOL, PL/I, and Java. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• min 7+ years of experience in Assembler development.
• Strong knowledge of IBM Mainframe technologies.
• Experience with performance tuning and low-level debugging.
• Understanding of system programming, memory management, and dumps analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities
